Its exclusive 7/8" (2.2cm) aluminum composition top is stronger than any wood, more consistent than fiberglass, less than half the weight of wood and 100% waterproof, too! That special press fuses a heavy-gauge top sheet, waffled back sheet and 1" (2.5cm) square edge-support channels into an aluminum shell.
The shell is formed around a special treated and protected high-density composite core. The top surface is then coated with an electro-static powder-epoxy enamel - bright white markings on a non-glare green background. Bounce response is so perfect it's the only non-wood table top sanctioned for international tournament play. The Roll-Away/Playback "Stockholm" moves effortlessly on lockable 4-3/4" (12.1cm) industrial casters. Triangular-designed center transport base is of high-impact-resistant resin. Oversized legs move automatically during folding into half open playback position, or fully closed. Tournament net posts are integrated into the unit.
